PIMCon Event Terms of Service Policy

Introduction

Welcome to PIMCon! We are excited to have you join us. Please read the following Terms of Service Policy ("Policy") carefully as it contains important information regarding your attendance and participation in our events.

Registration and Payment

Registration: All attendees must register for the event. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received in full.

Payment: Payment must be made at the time of registration. We accept various forms of payment, which will be specified during the registration process.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Event Cancellation by Organizers:

  • In the unlikely event that PIMCon is canceled by the organizers, registered attendees will receive a full refund of their registration fee.
  • We are not responsible for any other expenses incurred by registrants, such as travel or accommodation costs.

No Refunds:

  • All sales are final. Except as provided herein, PIMCon does not offer refunds for cancellations by attendees.
  • Refunds will not be given for no-shows, travel delays, visa issues, or other personal circumstances.

Exceptional Circumstances:

  • Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness or family emergency, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Such requests must be submitted in writing and accompanied by appropriate documentation.Approval of such refund requests is at the sole discretion of PIMCon organizers.

Event Conduct and Policies

Code of Conduct: All attendees are expected to adhere to our event code of conduct, which promotes a respectful and inclusive environment.

Photography and Recording: Photography, audio, and video recording may occur during the event. By attending, you consent to such recording and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction.

Personal Belongings: Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. PIMCon is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Data Privacy and Sharing

Collection of Personal Data:

  • By registering for PIMCon, you agree to provide certain personal information necessary for event organization and communication. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, and professional affiliation.

Use of Personal Data:

  • The personal data collected will be used for the purposes of organizing and running the event, including registration, communication, and feedback collection.

Liability and Indemnification

Limitation of Liability: PIMCon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Indemnification: Attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless PIMCon and its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your attendance or conduct at the event.

Changes to Terms

PIMCon reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new policy on our website or by other means of communication.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the event is held, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
